As of right now, Reaper is in Ohio, and since that is about as close as he'll get to Wisconsin, I'm driving out to meet him. Tomorrow me and my roommate will be driving for 8 hours (one way, and it might be closer to 10 hours) to go meet him and his folks.

Hey guys just a heads up that everything on the dedicated will be going down Wednesday night, and maybe be down till as late as Thursday @ noon. The company we rent from is doing some hardware maintenance.

if some of you dont notice when you hit the forums, we have a missing image in the top left of the forums (right above the login/logout) well we need to fix that!

we want you the community to help us design a logo to use for all furture designs and also when we start going into other things (aka videos, music, and etc)

any design currently will do and post as many diffrent styles as you want, if yours get choosen, please make sure it is in a format that can be easyly formated (PNG, PSD, etc)

Hey Everyone! We have some new servers now!!!! WOOT!!!!

QUESTIONS
Ask A question in this thread and me or another admin will try and answer it and i will add it to this list

Q: What Happened To Reaper's Lair?
A: Well the reason I took that name out is because I am not running the server alone anymore (or paying for it alone) The server belong to the community and anyone else, that means anyone with access or admin level, HELPS, they help by paying for the server ($119 a month total) and/or maintaining the server

Q: What If I Want To Run My Own Server For Gaming Rapture?
A: Go Ahead! Make sure you can run a server (aka, you have the bandwidth and CPU power) Name your server something like this "GamingRapture.net | SERVER NAME" (example: "GamingRapture.net | Reaper's lair") so that it says it part of the Gaming Rapture Community. Also PM a founding father that you are running one so we can add it to the server list and/or we know about it (we don't like servers that have our name in and we don't know about it)

Q: I Really Like This Other Community Still, Can I Join Yours and Not Leave the Other One?
A: Yes, we aren't trying to force you to abandon your other community. We are not a clan by the way. We help other communities out at time, place there server on our list and point out stuff like bugs and that, etc... basically we are helping and not bitter enemies

We have 2 server slots open for use of other servers, post below and request a server. it can be any type of server thats source or non, we will see if we can run one or not, just give it a shot and we will see

Natural Selection 2 Is Available For Pre-Order!

Natural Selection 2 is now available in 2 versions for pre-order. The first is $20 US which includes the game and beta testing. The other is $40 US which includes the game, alpha and beta testing, as well as a set of black armor while playing as a marine. Also, check out the teaser video, I must say the Onos looks quite bad ass.

Help Keep The Server! Donate!

The Server Payment Changes because we are on "pay as you go" bandwidth so the baseline the server costs $10 because we are running the lowest product (but if we see we need more power, it will cost 20$) so currently i am asking if you guys could help donate!

we need 15$ a month, the donate system is on the home page ( http://www.gamingrapture.net/ ) and it will tell how much we need left after people donate, so please DONATE, lets start running servers again!

by the way, whats the next server you guys want now?

New Team Fortress Server, OUR OWN ONE!

we now own a team fortress server!

its 32 slot (i not sure if team fortress can handle more)

currently i got 26 players on the server while testing and everyones ping are under 100 (mine is 46 on avg)

please not the name will change, as to me and enfission are just got the server up, and we are in the works of a admin mod (just got to restart the server and set it up)
